Abstract
It is argued that both confinement and superconductivity can be descri bed on the basis of the vacuum-correlation function method. The close similarity of these phenomena is stressed. The fundamental vacuum corr elation functions D and D1 are expressed in terms of the current corre lation functions (ordinary and monopole-like). (C) 1994 American Insti tute of Physics.
