Abstract
The paper discusses the effect of the TL output decrease with a simult aneous growth of the peak emission intensity in dosimetric crystals of the anion defective alpha-Al2O3 at higher heating rates. This effect appeared to be directly related to the decrease of TL efficiency due t o thermal quenching.
