Abstract
The structure contains discrete molecules of the 1:2 adduct of octaflu oronaphthalene with indene: (4balpha,4calpha,8bbeta,8cbeta,13bbeta,13c beta, 13dalpha, ,5,6,7,8,-8b,13c,13d-octafluoro-4b,4c,8b,8c,9,13b, 13c , 13d, eno[1',2':3,4]cyclobuta)[1,2-a:1',2'-c]naphthalene [Chem. Abstr . (1992). 116, 3468f]. The bond lengths and angles are normal for this type of compound and there are no unusual close intermolecular contac ts in the structure.
