Abstract
Electronic yellow pages (Electronic Pages) are proposed as a parr of e stablishing information systems for an Intelligent Vehicle Highway Sys tem (NHS) program. The basic requirement for trip planning is an infor mation system which has a list of all available facilities (Yellow Pag es). Usually the requirement for Yellow Pages is greater in nonwork tr ips compared to work trips. Present computerized systems are static da tabases of facilities, and interfaces to these types of systems are co mplicated with many restrictions. Additionally, the information provid ed by these systems does not fulfil user needs.
