BETHE-ANSATZ FOR THE IZERGIN-KOREPIN MODEL

By using the reflection equations, we prove the integrability of the g eneral exactly solvable models with open boundary conditions. For the Izergin-Korepin model, we find a diagonal solution of the reflection e quation. Using the algebraic Bethe ansatz method, we solve the eigenva lue problem of the Izergin-Korepin model with this diagonal reflecting matrix, the corresponding Bethe ansatz equations are obtained.
