Abstract
The reaction between [PtCl2(PPh2OH)2] (1) and SiCl2Ph2 gives the plati num silyldiphosphinite complex [PtCl2{(PPh2O)2SiPh2}] (2), the X-ray c rystal structure of which has been determined. Treatment of 1 with SnC l2Ph2 gives the complex [NHEt3][PtCl2{(PPh2O)2-SnClPh2}] (3).
