Abstract
By obtaining the effective Hamiltonian through the canonical transform ation method used for the theory on a plane and on a torus, we present the anyon equation on a cylinder and inside an infinite potential wal l from the abelian Chern-Simons theory coupled to a non-relativistic m atter field. We also give the periodic property of the theory on the c ylinder.
