Abstract
We have investigated the synchronization of chaotic signals and have u tilized that synchronization for a new efficient way of secure communi cation. This method utilizes Pyragas's method in which the decompositi on of a chaotic system is unnecessary. The effect of the difference in system parameters between the transmitter and the receiver on the sig nal to noise ratio of the communication is also investigated.
