Abstract
Daily harrowing of rain-filled ponds in Bangladesh with a weighted rop e (hora) was observed to have significant effects on turbidity levels, but no significant effects on pond water nutrient or chlorophyll-a va lues. Harrowing was also found to have no significant effects on pond soil nutrient levels or fish growth and production. Transitory effects on sediment gas release and on stratification were observed.
