Abstract
This paper describes the status of the pilot system on the distributed database for advanced nuclear materials named Data-Free-Way, Trials o f utilization of the system focused on the issues relating to fusion m aterials are mentioned. A relational database management system was ut ilized to unify useful data of material properties into the distribute d database. The other software such as operating system, network utili ties, etc. were also incorporated. To make retrieval rationally and pr omptly, a menu for selecting data items was expanded for the system. H igh-temperature tensile properties of type 316 stainless steel irradia ted in various reactors were analyzed. The results indicated that corr elation between postirradiation total elongation versus amounts of dis placement damage was better than that between postirradiation total el ongation versus helium accumulation in the alloys. Furthermore, correl ation coefficients of the data between those two variables were better at higher temperature ranges.
