Neonatal bladder injury is rare and usually associated with umbilical
artery catheterization. Patients may present with apparent renal failu
re, abdominal distension, and respiratory distress. Treatment involves
operative closure of the perforation and bladder drainage. A case of
Foley catheter-induced bladder rupture in a premature infant, not prev
