Abstract
Survival of repair-deficient strains of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii afte r UV and MNNG treatments was compared. MNNG-dosage-survival curves sho wed considerable differences from these obtained after UV treatment. I t was found that genes responsible for the recombination repair play t he role in the repair of damages induced by MNNG.
