E. Fainelli et al., AUGER ELECTRON-ION COINCIDENCE EXPERIMENT ON NITROGEN MOLECULE EXCITED BY ELECTRON-IMPACT, The Journal of chemical physics, 101(8), 1994, pp. 6565-6569
The first Auger electron-ion coincidence experiment on the nitrogen mo
lecule excited by electron impact is described. The kinetic energy rel
eases of the N++ and the N+ fragments in the 43-72 eV binding energy r
ange have been measured. The experimental results are compared with pr
evious experimental data obtained by using synchrotron radiation and t
heoretical predictions.
