Abstract
Using a semi classical approach, we have calculated electron-, proton- , and He III-impact line widths and shifts for 20 Ne VIII and 8 Na IX multiplets. Obtained results have been compared with available experim ental and theoretical data. The influence of the perturber charge on t he ion broadening contribution has been investigated and discussed.
