Abstract
Liver transplantation is the standard therapy for many patients with a cute or chronic liver disease. During the last 10 years, a number of c hanges have occurred that have resulted in modifications of the liver transplant procedure. This article reviews these changes and presents many of the controversial aspects of the liver transplant process.
