Abstract
The mean velocity profiles in the gap between two bluff bodies in tand em arrangement and in the wake of the rear body are presented. The res ults are discussed when the gap between the bodies is systematically v aried from a low value to a large value. The reattachment point within the gap between the bodies and behind the rear body, the shear layer distortion due to the interference effects are revealed by the study.
