Abstract
This report covers the present state of the art for roller compacted c oncrete pavements. It contains information on applications, material p roperties, mix proportioning, design, construction, and quality contro l procedures. Roller compacted concrete use for pavements is relativel y recent and the technology is still evolving. The pavement consists o f a relatively stiff mixture of aggregate, cementitious materials, and water, that is compacted by rollers and hardened into concrete.
