Abstract
The descriptions of three new polyommatine lycaenid species are given from the high Andean regions of Peru: Itylos pasco (type locality: dep artment Pasco, Lima-Huanuco), Madeleinea huascarana (type locality: de partment Ancash, Parque Nacional Huascaran, Quebrada Llanganuco) and M adeleinea cobaltana (type locality: department Junin, Ondores). The di scovery of these three new taxa underlines the importance of the Peruv ian Andes in speciation. With 10 original figures.
