Abstract
Polymer analogous reactions of poly-alpha-olefins with phenols and ami nophenols in the presence of catalytic complexes of the type Mt[AlCl4] , where Mt = Li, Na, K, were investigated. Optimal conditions for carr ying out the process were found. A process was developed for obtaining the final products in almost quantitative yield. It was shown that th e synthesized compounds served as polyfunctional additives for a numbe r of chlorinated polymers.
