TERNARY INTERPOLYMER COMPLEXES WITH A LOW -MOLECULAR-MASS MEDIATOR - SOME SPECIFIC FEATURES OF SUPERMOLECULAR STRUCTURE

The paper reports the results of X-ray diffraction studies of ternary interpolymer complexes with a low-molecular-mass mediator comprising t wo polyacids - poly(acrylic acid) and sodium polyphosphate - and a bas e serving as a mediator. In the diffraction patterns of all polycomple xes a distinct small-angle reflection suggesting the existence of cert ain supermolecular order was observed. The structure of polycomplexes was controlled by the chemical nature and size of mediator molecules. The structure of ternary polycomplexes with various mediators is discu ssed.
