1ST CONTRIBUTION TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE LEOTIALES OF BAJA-CALIFORNIAAND ADJACENT AREAS

Sixteen species of the Leotiales are reported from Baja California, Me xico and also from the south of California, U.S.A. Nine species, Ciste lla calafiae, Crocicreas sulphurea, Crocicreas pilifera, Hyalinia flag ellispora, Incrupila calcea, Incrupila isabellina, Lachnum glutinosum, Lambertella palmeri and Pithylella hispida, and one variety, Graddoni discus, hispanicus var. californicus, are described as new. Records of Arachnopeziza aurelia, Cystopezizella conorum, Hyaloscypha aureliella , Neodasyscyphus cerinus and Phialina lachnobrachya are provided.
