Abstract
Application of multifrequency and frequency modulated radiation for so lving navigation tasks with bottom bounced acoustic signals and multie lement receiving arrays is suggested. Advantages of these signals over cw signals are shown. Estimates characterizing possibilities of using this signals in real systems as well as recommendations for practical realization of these methods are given.
