J. Ramirezangulo et al., LARGE F0Q 2ND-ORDER FILTERS USING MULTIPLE-OUTPUT OTAS, IEEE transactions on circuits and systems. 2, Analog and digital signal processing, 41(9), 1994, pp. 587-592
It is shown and verified experimentally that a multiple output nonline
arized operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) can be efficiently
used for the practical implementation of very high selectivity Q (Q >
100), high frequency second-order filters (f0 > 10 MHz) with programm
able f0 and Q values in CMOS technology. Filter types presented are lo
wpass and bandpass. It is shown that with the proposed approach, filte
rs with products f0Q close to the maximum allowed by the technology ca
n be synthesized. Experimental results of 2 mum CMOS test-chip second-
order filters with f0Q = 2 GHz are presented.
