PERSONALITY-CORRELATES OF SEXUAL RISK-TAKING AMONG MEN

Seventy-four sexually active young men completed the Eysenck Personali ty Questionnaire short scale and a questionnaire designed to measure s exual risk-taking. Extraversion was positively correlated with 'French ' kissing. The lie scale correlated negatively with performing oral se x. Psychoticism correlated positively with a number of risky sexual pr actices including: having sex with an intravenous drug user, having un protected anal intercourse and having sexual relations with different partners. Neuroticism did not correlate with sexual risk-taking.
