Abstract
With the spread of laparoscopic cholecystectomy more and more complica tions are being reported. For the first time in this paper a pseudoane urysm of the right hepatic artery as a complication of laparoscopic ch olecystectomy in a 55 year old patient is described. During embolizati on the aneurysm ruptured and an emergency laparotomy was performed. Th e right hepatic artery was ligated. The postoperative course up to fol low-up at 6 months was uncomplicated.
