Abstract
The treatment of symptomatic congenital hepatic cysts is surgical, Asp iration does not provide definitive therapy and carries a high recurre nce rate. Surgical exploration and drainage intraperitoneally, externa lly, and internally to a segment of bowel have been described. With th e recent explosion in the applications of laparoscopic guided surgery, we report a simple method for the excision of congenital solid hepati c cyst with subsequent intraperitoneal drainage and follow-up.
