Abstract
Acute calculus cholecystitis during pregnancy can be a difficult manag ement problem. Two pregnant patients with cholecystitis refractory to conservative management underwent laproscopic cholecystectomy at a com munity hospital. One patient was treated under epidural anesthesia. Pr egnancy should not be an absolute contraindication to laproscopic chol ecystectomy, and epidural anesthesia should be considered.
