Abstract
A new technique that facilitates laparoscopic anterior resection is de scribed. The technique is a modification of a triple stapling techniqu e that the authors currently; use for conventional anterior resection of the mid- and low-rectal cancers. The new laparoscopic technique may reduce the risk of staple line or port site recurrence.
