Abstract
Potamothrix tudoranceai sp.n. is described from Lake Zwai of the Ethio pian Rift Valley (Africa). It is closely related to species Potamothri x bavaricus, P. heuscheri and P. bedoti absence of prostate gland, and presence of pectinate setae. Potamothrix tudoranceai sp.n. is charact erized by higher number of setae (bifid setae) in ventral bundles and pectinate and hair setae in dorsal bundles, by other form of spermathe cal setae, long atrium (approximately 3500 mum), double length of atri um in comparison related species.
