Ng. Chechenin et al., A FACILITY FOR IN-SITU STUDIES OF THE LASER-PULSE EFFECT ON MATERIALSBY NONDESTRUCTIVE NUCLEAR TECHNIQUES, Instruments and experimental techniques, 37(3), 1994, pp. 351-353
A facility for studying the effect of pulsed laser radiation on materi
als by nondestructive nuclear analysis is described. A sample can be e
xposed to a pulse with an energy density ranging from 0.05 to 1.5 J/cm
2. The illumination nonuniformity on the sample surface is calculated.
Examples of data obtained using the facility are given.
