Abstract
The paper describes an apparatus for measuring the viscosity and densi ty of liquids. Using modified magnetic-suspensions and falling-slug me thods, the apparatus can operate at a pressure of 0.1 Pa to 300 MPa in a temperature range of 100 to 500-degrees-K. The maximum viscosity er ror under the operating conditions is less than 1.5%, the density erro r is 0.15%.
