Abstract
We show how the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen paradox for continuous variabl es can be tested using the quadrature amplitudes of a radiation field in the pair-coherent state. Correlated pairs of photons are produced b y two competing nonlinear processes-four-wave mixing and two-photon ab sorption.
