Abstract
Viscometric studies have been carried out for the binary polar liquid mixtures of ethylmethylketone with ethyl alcohol, n-propyl alcohol, n- butanol and iso-amyl alcohol at 35, 40 and 45-degrees-C respectively. For all the four systems, the excess viscosity exhibits negative devia tions due to the hydrogen bonded effects and dipolar interactions. Exc ess activation energy of viscous flow has also been estimated.
