F. Szidarovszky et Oa. Palusinski, A SPECIAL MATRIX EQUATION AND ITS APPLICATION IN MICROELECTRONICS, Applied mathematics and computation, 64(2-3), 1994, pp. 115-119
A special matrix equation is examined, which arises in designing elect
rical interconnections between microelectronic circuits and systems. T
he equation is first rewritten as a fixed point problem. A globally co
nvergent iteration method is then proposed and monotone convergence is
proved. A sufficient and necessary condition for the existence of the
solution is presented. The solution can be used to minimize the refle
ction coefficients of the active signals.
