INTRAABDOMINAL FOREIGN-BODY GRANULOMA - A RARE COMPLICATION FOLLOWINGLAPAROSCOPIC CHOLECYSTECTOMY

Intra-abdominally retained gallstones following laparoscopic cholecyst ectomy only rarely cause related morbidity. A patient is reported, in whom aseptic foreign body reaction lead to formation of a big intra-ab dominal granuloma. Because of troubling symptoms laparotomy and exstir pation were required one year postoperatively.
