Abstract
Exact calculations of the Glauber amplitude for alpha-C-12 scattering at 1.37 GeV are carried out by expanding it into multiple scattering s equences and by classifying them into equivalent kinds. A comparison h as been made with those based on various approximation schemes. The co nvergence of the expansion is investigated.
