Av. Popov et al., EFFICACY OF PULSED INFRARED-LASER THERAPY IN DISSEMINATED PSORIASIS AND PSORIATIC ARTHROPATHY, Vestnik dermatologii i venerologii, (4), 1994, pp. 37-38
Pulsed infrared laser therapy was fairly effective in the treatment of
56 patients with disseminated psoriasis, 35 of these suffering from p
soriatic arthropathy. The involved skin sites and zones of sympathetic
segmentary innervation were exposed to IR laser beam at a power of 25
mWt for 5 sec to 6 min by scanning; vitamins were also administered.
The treatment efficacy was assessed from the cellular and humoral immu
nity parameters; the immunity activation was in good correlation with
the clinical data.
