Abstract
Influence of the reactants concentration on the reduction kinetics of Ce (IV) with cyclooctane, cyclooctanone and cyclooctanol has been dete rmined. Products of these compounds oxidation were isolated. The most reasonable mechanisms have been proposed from the kinetic, spectral an d chromatographic data.
