Abstract
Myiasis is not an uncommon parasitic infestation in the tropics and su btropics, and with the increase in international travel, cases also ar e encountered outside the endemic regions in both Europe and North Ame rica. This article reviews the ecology, classification, pathophysiolog y, pathology, and treatment of myiasis.
