Abstract
We study the free surface shape of thick lamellar films whose layer cu rvature and surface energies can compare. A new capillarity appears wi th a mesoscopic or even macroscopic screening length mu. Under externa l constraints, instabilities with period mu are expected to develop. T hese results would extend to ''loose'' lamellar drops laid on non-face ting substrates. Typical experiments could check these predictions. Tu bular cylinders of size mu could exist.
