Abstract
We describe a very compact apparatus suitable for investigating candid ate photocathode materials for spin-polarized electron sources. Photoc athode characterization is obtained by means of quantum yield and spin polarization measurements versus photon energy. As an example, data o n negative-electron-affinity GaAs(100) are presented.
