Abstract
The behavior of tracer Ac-228 during Gd2Cl3 condensed cluster formatio n is studied. The cluster is prepared by electrochemical reduction of GdCl3. Actinium does not cocrystallize with the Gd2Cl3 cluster. Its be havior is similar to that of La under analogous conditions. A number o f hypotheses requiring further refinement is proposed to explain the r esults.
