Abstract
4-dimethylamino-4'-cyanostilbene and selectively bridged model compoun ds are investigated using ps-time-resolved absorption and fluorescence measurements. The formation kinetics of a bicimer species are compare d in homologous alcohol solvents at ambient pressure and as a function of high pressure, and the viscosity dependences are discussed.
