Abstract
Capillary eIectrophoresis (CE) has been used to develop a method that allows analysis for all the main components of Eminase. This technique has also resolved the two glycosylated forms of lys-plasminogen. Quan titative CE analysis of concentration levels of this enzyme complex ha ve been directly compared to those obtained from a bio-assay. A linear relation between the two methods has been demonstrated. Moreover, the CE method is highly reproducible, combines precision with speed, and allows quantitative analysis of the other protein components (streptok inase and human serum albumin) in Eminase.
