Abstract
The concentration effect in size-exclusion chromatographic analysis of hyaluronans of various relative molecular masses (RMM) has been studi ed. A critical concentration has been found that is negatively depende nt on the hyaluronan molecular mass; the higher the biopolymer molecul ar mass, the smaller the injected sample where the concentration effec t should be taken into account for accurate evaluation of molecular ma ss distribution. At higher temperatures, however, the concentration ef fect diminishes significantly.
