Abstract
The development of splenosis is a recognized consequence of splenic tr auma. We present 2 cases of splenosis that were initially diagnosed as left renal cell carcinomas. The diagnosis of splenosis was made by te chnetium sulfur colloid scans. The clinical presentation and diagnosis of these 2 cases of splenosis masquerading as renal cell carcinoma ar e reviewed.
