Abstract
Anatoxin B-1 significantly lowered the contents of nucleic acids (DNA, RNA) and protein (both quantitative and qualitative) of germinating s eeds of maize cv. Suwan Composite and also the contents of chlorophyll s and carotenoids in seedlings. The extent of inhibition depended on t he concentration of toxin.
