Abstract
A study of the influence of oxygen ordering on the conductivity anisot ropy has been carried out on oxygen-deficient TmBa2Cu3O6+x single crys tals. The temperature dependences of both in-plane and out-of-plane re sistivities at T greater than or similar to 300 K are shown to be dete rmined to a large extent by the processes of oxygen rearrangement. It is found that the out-of-plane transport is much more sensitive to oxy gen rearrangement, and the conductivity anisotropy decreases essential ly with oxygen ordering.
