An. Lavrov et Lp. Kozeeva, INFLUENCE OF LOW-TEMPERATURE OXYGEN REARRANGEMENT ON THE CONDUCTIVITYANISOTROPY IN TMBA2CU3O6-CRYSTALS(X SINGLE), Physics letters. A, 194(3), 1994, pp. 215-222
A study of the influence of oxygen ordering on the conductivity anisot
ropy has been carried out on oxygen-deficient TmBa2Cu3O6+x single crys
tals. The temperature dependences of both in-plane and out-of-plane re
sistivities at T greater than or similar to 300 K are shown to be dete
rmined to a large extent by the processes of oxygen rearrangement. It
is found that the out-of-plane transport is much more sensitive to oxy
gen rearrangement, and the conductivity anisotropy decreases essential
ly with oxygen ordering.
