Abstract
An unidentified ascidian from the Arabian Sea contained nine new alkal oids of the lamellarin class together with lamellarin N. The structure s of the 20-sulfate derivatives of lamellarins T. U, V, and Y (1-4) an d lamellarins T - X (5-9) were identified by interpretation of spectro scopic data. This is the first report of lamellarin sulfates. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
