Abstract
The synthesis of oligomeric homologs of BEDT-TTF and TTC(n)-TTF posses sing three TTF subunits in full pi-conjugation was accomplished starti ng from soluble dithiones. Cyclic voltammetric investigation revealed the formation of a hexacation upon oxidation. Details are discussed in comparison to suitable model compounds. Charge-transfer complexes and radical-cation salts derived from the new donors were investigated by electrical conductivity measurements.
